Swan, Rush & Iris Design - Frame Purse

Some things are too beautiful to keep to yourself — and this little purse is one of them. The design is inspired by Walter Crane's Swan, Rush & Iris, a stunning dado wallpaper design created in 1875. Crane (1845–1915) was one of the great figures of the Arts & Crafts movement, and this graceful swan gliding through rushes and irises is everything that movement stood for — nature, beauty, and extraordinary craft.

Woven in a rich tapestry of eco-dyed yarn, the detail is remarkable for something that fits in your pocket. Two compartments keep cards and coins organised, while the double clasp frame — finished in gold-tone — opens and closes with a satisfying click. The interior is lined with coordinating patterned nylon, and the easy-care PU leather trim means it stays looking good with minimal fuss.
